Recent Reports/National Benchmark Studies

The Division of Student Affairs has administered the CIRP (Cooperative Institutional Research Program), a survey of first year students, since 2001.  Recently, a longitudinal study was completed, using results from the 2001 and 2006 administrations.  The results of that analysis is presented here.

During the 2008 spring semester, we also participated in Student Voice’s national benchmark project, entitled the Profile of the American College Student (PACS).  This survey was administered to a sample of all undergraduate students, not just first-year students.

During the academic year 2008-09, we participated in the NASPA Knowledge Consortium’s benchmarking project, which involved three areas:  Diversity and Multiculturalism; Safety and Student Conduct; and Activities and Student Involvement.
